This is my first attempt at a photoblog. I have been doing self-taught photography for most of my life. I hope you like this effort. Please click on the photos for enlargements.

I'm getting my eyes checked.

Canada is the second coldest country in the world. I believe it. Especially this week.
I was standing in the bitter cold trying to get a shot of the full moon. I took what I thought was a good shot (it was so cold that as soon as the shutter went "click" I knew it was a good shot because I wasn't taking another one, so it had to be good). I downloaded the photo onto (into?) the computer and was surprised to see the snowflake reflections.
I did not see the snow falling while I was outside, probably due to the fact that the vitreous humour (the liquid in your eyes) may have been frozen solid!
Anyway, the moon shot came out okay and I am almost positive it is the second (or third) from the left near the top of the photograph.
At least I think it's the moon. With my eyes it could be a space ship.
