Employer / Employee problems on Florida Golf Courses

You're the caddy- you get the ball.
It's your ball, you get it.

What the moon might look like if Ronald ran things.

My humour is full.
It is not waning in the least. In fact it is on the rise.
It cannot be eclipsed.
These jokes are new. They are not blue.
You may harvest them if you wish.

National Air & Space Museum, Washington D.C.

There have been several times in my life where I have walked around in a daze, mouth open and drool dripping looking more like a dork than usual. Times like Victoria's Secret shows, that once coming home from a bar (at least I walked), but the longest time I did it was at the National Air & Space Museum, Washington D.C. Amazing doesn't cover it. To see things like the "real" Spirit of St. Louis, Glamorous Glennis (first to break the sound barrier) the Wright Brother's Flyer.
Amazing just doesn't cover it.
If you ever go to D.C., put it high on your list of places to go. You can trust me, I'm a photographer.

Snoopy faces a new threat

Here is the WWI flying ace.....not really, but if it has wings, I'll go on it.
Our hero is seen in a 1947 Waco UPF-7.
The real pilot is sitting behind me eating a sandwich.

Where I plan to retire and live on my pension

I received my retirement fund update the other day and this is what I will be able to afford.
You can't see it in the photo, but it's a small lean-to behind the luxurious cabin.
It's either live here or sponge off my family and friends.

It happened the same way with baby alligators

When will people learn that if you flush your pet baby orca, it will wind up in the water system and the next thing you know, you've filled your pool and people start disappearing. Don't say I din't warn you.

Once upon a time in the Caribbean

A few years ago Sweetie and I took a cruise to the Caribbean. One of the excursions offered was a day of snorkling. We jumped at the chance to see some tropical fishes. I love fishes ('cause they're so delicious). One problem that came up was my moustache. It caused water to leak around my mask. I borrowed a huge floating bar the instructors had with them and, laying across it, I took off my mask to dump out the water, and that was when I heard that horrible cry, "Shark!".
My first instinct was to find Sweetie. I couldn't see her for the crowd. The crowd, by the way, was heading away from me. I figured one of two things was going on.
One, the shark was where all the people were swimming TO.
Two, the shark was behind me and all the people were swimming FROM.
Either way, I felt there was safety in numbers and started swimming towards the crowd all the while being encumbered by the huge floating bar.
It was then something brushed the back of my left leg.
Off I went, at a speed that small children would have been able to stay up on water skis had they a rope on me.
I made straight for the beach and was pulling in the floating bar when I saw it.
The ten foot rope attached to the floating bar.
The shark, a non-man eating, harmless four foot lemon shark was over a hundred feet away from where I was adjusting my mask.
The water, by the way, was still safe to swim in, but it was close. Very close.

A Yul Brynner I ain't.

I was looking through my files and found a shot taken a couple of years ago when I had my head shaved for "Cops For Cancer". When the hair started growing back, it was actually painful to rub my head. But, when compared with the people who lost (or lose) their hair through chemo and radiation treatments, it was pretty insignificant.

Water Thrashing

I like the way the camera froze the water in this shot.

It's really "To go boldly", Not "To boldly go".

I guess it was my way of telling Gene that his grammer was incorrect that got me kicked off the production of "Star Trek". Oh Well, At least I still have my cast photo and my memories of the crew.
Actually, I paid $2 to get my picture taken with the cut-outs. I look good though, don't I?
If I had looked in the same direction as the crew members it would have been more realistic.

Come to Canada! Escape the Heat! NOT!

Today will be the hottest day of the year. Currently at 7:22 am (the time I took the photo) it is 84F with 97% humidity. It will be (with the humidex) 117F.
I am working nights and will be sleeping in air conditioned splendour - unless the power fails.
I am an old man. Too old to be doing shift work. Please send me money so I can retire.
Thank you.
