This is my first attempt at a photoblog. I have been doing self-taught photography for most of my life. I hope you like this effort. Please click on the photos for enlargements.

Viet Nam Memorial Wall

To me, this is the most disturbing photograph that I have ever taken. I never realized how disturbing it was until I finished developing it in the darkroom. The first letters that jumped out at me were "son" and then the reflections on the wall took on ghost-like qualities. Maybe it's just my age or maybe I'm just reading too much into it. I'd appreciate your thoughts on it.

Very powerful photo. Sometimes we see what we did not know we were looking for. The first words I saw were Fran(k)my father-in-laws name.
