A sad anniversary














68 years ago today, at 10 minutes past 4 in the afternoon, the Honeymoon bridge collapsed when its support pillars, weakend by the massive ice jam from Niagara Falls, finally gave in. Photo was taken by my Great-aunt Winnifred Boddington.
